OUR LOVE STORY
Jeffrey and Hannah’s love story technically began years before they ever met. Thanks to Jeffrey’s dad and Hannah’s uncle coaching their kids’ hockey team, their families became longtime friends. Along the way, Hannah’s cousins tried (and tried) to play matchmaker — but as fate would have it, the timing was never quite right. That is until a cousin’s birthday celebration in October 2021 when Hannah and Jeffrey finally crossed paths. Within minutes, Hannah was asking why no one had mentioned just how handsome Jeffrey was. By the end of the weekend, Jeffrey not-so-smoothly slipped Hannah his phone number at the kitchen table. A week later, they were officially dating — something Hannah thought was a little crazy, but also felt completely right.
Since then, life together has been full, joyful, and beautifully real. Jeffrey and Hannah adopted their dog, Jameson; celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and new family milestones (including the arrival of Jeffrey’s nephews); and have been building a life filled with laughter and love. Jeffrey planned the perfect proposal on a sailboat in Traverse City — a thoughtful nod to a girls’ trip Hannah loved in 2019 — with friends and family waiting at the dock to celebrate. They’ve also weathered difficult moments together, from grieving the loss of loved ones to heartbreaks like losing out on “the perfect house.” Through it all, they’ve learned there’s no one else they’d rather share both the highs and the lows with. Four years later, they’re beyond excited to tie the knot and celebrate with the people they love most!
